Maruki's eyes actually widen a little from her words, lips slightly parted as his brows furrow with uncertainty. Like he was willing to strip himself down and open his heart for open surgery.
Just as obviously as he had accepted that the thieves may change his heart if there's an ounce of ill will in him.
