He backs away from her anyway when he sees her flinch. Instinct, knowing that he had to do the same for the general populace back home.

"But...we made a deal and I need to see this through," he gestures lightly with a wave of his hand, "Help us take down EMMA and we will put her creator down with her- hopefully by then you won't try ruining everyone else's lives back in your world."
